Get an insight into the state-run agricultural system. See places still untouched by tourism including a ceramic workshop, gardens, and production sites of Cuban agriculture. Enjoy a delicious Creole meal made in a traditional finca.
Begin your tour by taking public transport to the south-west of Havana, a place still untouched by tourism. The majority of the inhabitants living here earn their money from pottery and other crafts. During a visit to a ceramics workshop, watch over a potters shoulder as he works. If you like, you can attempt to use the potter’s wheel.
Continue the expedition with various visits to research and development centers, gardens, and production sites of Cuban agriculture. See a Finca, where bananas, avocados, lettuce, mint, and much more are grown then sold daily at one of the many farmer’s markets in the city.
Enjoy a delicious Creole meal with refreshing drinks here. An employee of the Finca will give a tour and explain the state-run agricultural system. If you like, you can cool off in the pool before you set off again.
